Our school is one of Australia’s largest business schools, hosting 8 disciplinary schools, 9 research centres and the AGSM. Our AGSM MBA is the first Australian MBA program to be granted prestigious AACSB accreditation, a recognition which sits alongside our 5 year EQUIS accreditation. We rank No.1 for:

We are also proud to have hosted the world’s inaugural I-LEAD program, which brought together elite students and staff from 13 leading business schools across six continents in January 2014 to provide distinct leadership development opportunities.
Our strength in research is acknowledged by the Australian Federal Government Excellence in Research Awards (ERA) 2012 in the major fields of Accounting, Auditing and Accountability, Banking, Finance and Investment, Business and Management, Marketing and Econometrics. We also ranked equal 1st internationally in Auditing research, 9th in Management Accounting and 12th overall with no other Australian institution being represented in the Top 20 institutions overall (World of Accounting research, Brigham Young University) 2013. The 2014-15 league table ranks UNSW Australia at 48th in the QS World University Rankings. In individual subject areas, our Social Sciences and Management is ranked at 20th in the world. Our research strength is also shown in the establishment of the Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research and the Centre for International Finance and Regulation (both hosted by UNSW).
